Thank you, summit volunteers!

Following our 16th annual Chicago Food Justice Summit, we want to extend a huge thank you to all of our summit planning team!

This year, our volunteers assisted in evaluating all the presentation proposals we received to build the summit schedule, brainstormed and coordinated cooking demonstrations, yoga, and other enrichment activities for participants to engage with, supported all of our accessibility features including closed captioning, American Sign Language interpretation, and Spanish language audio translations, and lastly conducted wide outreach to ensure as many Chicagoans as possible were invited to attend our summit.

The success of year’s virtual summit was only possible with the guidance and support of all of the following people:

Virtual Event Planner: Candace Clark
