That's a wrap! Thank you for attending the 17th Annual Chicago Food Justice Summit!

Across three days, 45 sessions, and 108 speakers, more than 850 participants joined us for our largest summit yet! While the virtual world had its challenges, a completely virtual summit helped us extend our reach, and make the Summit more accessible than ever.

Thank you!

We extend many thanks to every speaker, participant, sponsor, and supporter who came together to make this event possible. As this was the second year of hosting a big event virtually, this was a huge learning opportunity, and we strive to continue making the Summit more accessible, more inclusive, and more representative of the folx who comprise this revolutionary movement towards an equitable and just food future. As we know, the work doesn’t end here; and we hope the Summit created a space for people to find, learn, connect, and plug-in to something new happening across Chicagoland!

A special thanks to our Summit Leader team who loaned their time and expertise to help make this event possible! As well as Mind’s Eye Creative for graphically recording twelve of our sessions.

This event is organized in partnership with Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events (DCASE) and the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH).
